My final degree show exploring the possibilities of letterforms as functional typographic objects, which incorporates:
Mesh and cable tie type – This piece portrays the restrictive nature of typography in both print and on screen.
Typographic light – Holes were made in a piece of acrylic to form the letters, which were then backlit.
Typographic clocks – These clocks are made from veneered plywood. The rounded letterforms make great clock faces.
Copper pipe type – These letterforms are constructed from copper pipe. This piece takes inspiration from old victorian cast iron radiators.
